A better model is only one part

“Machines of Loving Grace” imagines large gains if powerful AI goes well. I find that possibility exciting. But a useful product also needs access, trust and a way for people to challenge mistakes. I think the next decade will be shaped as much by those systems around models as by the models themselves.
